சிமிர்னா சபை ( வெளிப் : 2:8-11) வெளிப்படுத்தல் புத்தகத்தில் கூறப்பட்டுள்ள ஏழு சபைகளில் இரண்டாவது சபை சிமிர்னா . இந்த ஏழு சபைகளில் கடவுளின் நற்சாட்சி பெற்ற இரண்டு சபைகளில் ஒன்று தான் சிமிர்னா சபை . இந்த சபை எபேசுவுக்கு வடக்கே முப்பது மைல் தொலைவில் அமைந்துள்ளது . சிமிர்னா என்பதற்கு “ கசப்பு ” அல்லது “ வெள்ளைப்போளம் ” என்பது பொருள் . தன் பெயரின் பொருளுக்கு ஏற்றார்போல் இந்த சபை கிபி 150 முதல் 312 வரையிலான காலகட்டத்தில் மிகுந்த உபத்திரவத்தை கசப்பான அனுபவமாய் கொண்டிருந்தும் , கடவுளின் அன்பிற்கு  சான்றாய் நறுமணம் வீசியது . இந்த சபை அமைந்துள்ள சிமிர்னா ஒரு துறைமுக பட்டணம் . செழிப்பும், வாணிபமும், மருத்துவமும், அறிவியலும் இங்கு மிகுதியாய் காணப்பட்டன . இந்த சிமிர்னாவை தான் மேற்கத்திய நாடுகளின் நுழைவு வாயில் என்பர் . மேலும் இதனை ஆசியாவின் அணிகலன் , மணிமுடி , கிரீடம் எனவும் அழைத்தனர் . கிரேக்க நாகரீக காலத்தில் முதன் முதலில் கட்டப்பட்ட நகரம் இதுதான் . இது ரோமர்களின் காலகட்டத்தில் உலகப் புகழ்பெற்றது. இதற்கு காரணம் இப்பட்டணத்தில் கிடைக்க பெறும் வெள்ளைப்போளம் மிகுந்த வாசனை கொண்டதாய்

  What is Church and Doctrines of the Church The root word of ‘church’ is derived from the Greek word ekklesia (Latin ecclesia ). The term for the church means an assembly of people, congregation, or any group of people who come together to worship God. The area which deals with the doctrine of the church is usually referred to as ‘ecclesiology’. It is the area that seeks to give theoretical justification to an institution that has undergone development and change down the centuries. This term is first used in a Christian sense in Acts 5:11.  Theological identity of the church is as follows: the church is the people of God, and the church has been chosen for the called people of God just as god called Israel in the past.   CALL OF DAVID The character of David as presented in the Old Testament is hard to determine. David is also known as the sweet psalmist of Israel.   Do Not Be Hasty A friend of the well-known philosopher Socrates in ancient Greece visited him. He was eager to share some juicy gossip, the man asked if Socrates would like to know the story, he had just heard about a friend of theirs. Socrates replied that before the man spoke, he needed to pass the “Triple-Filter” test. The first filter, he explained, is Truth. “Have you made absolutely sure that what you are about to say is true?” The man shook his head. “No, I actually just heard about it, and …”  Socrates cut him off. “So, you don’t know for sure if it’s true. Are you trying to say anything good or kind?” Again, the man shook his head. “No! Actually, just the opposite. You see …” Socrates lifted his hand to stop the man speaking. “Therefore, you are unsure of what you want to say, and it isn’t good or kind. One filter still remains, though, so you may yet still tell me. Is this information useful or necessary to me?  A little defeated, the man replied, “No, not really.”

  Sermon on Genesis 4:13-16 Within the Torah, the Book of Genesis recalls the primeval history of the Israelites. Genesis 4:1-16 is a historical narrative. It explores the death of Abel at the hand of Cain. This is possibly the first murder and possibly Cain’s first sin, this could even be the very first death. This pericope’s movement is episodic. Cain and Abel are born of Adam and Eve, Abel keeps the sheep and Cain tills the ground; they bring to the God an offering from their respective work areas. After God shows no regard for his sacrifice, Cain grows angry. Cain plots to lure Abel into a distant field, kill him, and then attempt to hide from divine justice. Abel does not speak in this passage; his blood, however, does speak. His blood cries out from the ground and here comes the divine investigation. Yahweh tries Cain for his life. Walter Brueggemann calls this section a ‘lawsuit’.  Cain responds to God by acting indifferent and deflective. The first part of Cain’s response is

  கிறிஸ்துவுடன் இணைந்து வாழும் இறையரசுக்குரியோர் ( 1 யோவான் 2 :6 ) நிலைவாழ்விற்கு மாதிரியாகவும், கிறிஸ்துவுடன் ஒன்றித்து வாழ்வதற்கு சான்றாளர்களாகவும் சிறார்களை முன்னிலைப்படுத்திய இறைமைந்தன் இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவின் இனிய நல்நாமத்தில் நடுநிலை தவறா தீர்ப்பு வழங்க வீற்றிருக்கும் நடுவர்களுக்கும், இறையரசுக்குரியவராய் சிறார்களை பக்குவப்படுத்தும் ஆசிரியர்களுக்கும், அவையோருக்கும், சபையோருக்கும் என் அன்பின் நல்வாழ்த்துக்களும், வணக்கங்களும் . எனக்கு இங்கு பேசும்படியாக கொடுக்கப்பட்டுள்ள தலைப்பு “ கிறிஸ்துவுடன் இணைந்து வாழும் இறையரசுக்குரியோர் ” என்பதாகும் . இதற்கு ஆதாரமான திருமறைப்பகுதி 1 யோவான் 2 :6 . இதனை அடிப்படையாகக் கொண்டு என் சிந்தையில் எழுந்த கருத்துக்களை திருமறை வெளிச்சத்தில் பேச ஆசிக்கிறேன் . அப்போஸ்தலராகிய யோவான் தன்னுடைய முதலாம் நிரூபத்தில் கிறிஸ்துவுடன் இணைந்து வாழும் இறையரசுக்குரியோரை குறித்தும் , கிறிஸ்துவுடன் இணைந்து வாழ்வதற்கான ஆயத்தங்களையும் அதன் ஊடாய் கிடைக்க பெறும் நன்மைகளையும் ஆலோசனைகளாய் வழங்குகிறார் . இறையரசுக்குரியோர் பாவத்தை விட்டு பரிசுத்தமாம் வாழ்வை வாழ வேண்டும்
