Actor Vivek as a Socialist

Actor Vivek as a Socialist

Dear friends, looking at the title and picture, you might have come to know who this is? And what will the article be about? I hope you all will understand my personal view on the actor Vivek at the end of this article.

Actor Vivek

This blog is about a legendary comedian, social activist and a good human who passed away recently. His name was actor Vivek, also known as Kutty kalaivanar in Tamil. He was a Tamil comedian, actor, dubbing artist, playback singer, television and personality. He was born on 19th of November 1961in kovilpatti, Tamilnadu. Vivek made his acting debut in 1987 in a Tamil movie. Vivek never missed any of his opportunities to make awareness and to spread reform ideas through his movie characters. He was honoured by government of India by presenting Padma Shri in 2009. The death of Vivek was a sad news for Tamil movie lovers all over the world. But on the other hand, it was a great loss for the environmental and nature lovers. Because he has been involved in various social activities like environmental protection, making awareness about the importance of nature, planting saplings, tree cultivation etc. His social work during this pandemic was really outstanding. Here I would like to share one of the interesting facts in his life was that he followed the footsteps of former President of India Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam sir, Vivek had set a goal of planting 1 crore saplings through the organization called “Green Kalam”. So far 33 lakhs 23 thousand saplings have been planted in various places along the roadsides in India by Vivek.  Unfortunately, on April 16th 2021, Vivek was hospitalised and passed away on April 17, 2021 at the age of 59, due to cardiac arrest was reported by the hospital officials, the saddened part of his life was two days before his death he has taken vaccination to make awareness to the people about corona virus and the safety measures of getting vaccinated. Rather than inspiring the younger generation by his acting, he has attracted many young people through his social activities. In that way I was really proud to be a fan of a good soul. His love for nature had made him a role model in the life of several young people.

In the bible Genesis 1:26 states that, Then God said, let us make humankind in our image, according to our likeness; and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the wild animals of the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth. God has given mankind the authority to rule over environment, that authority should not be misused by us in any kind of situation. Our domain over creations should bring goodness and growth in the life of nature. Today’s world is struggling to overcome the corona pandemic, many people are dying without proper oxygen supplication. Nothing is permanent in this temporary world, so the days we are being in this world let us show and spread our love towards green nature. Let us be an eco-friendly personality!

I have a request to our bloggers and friends to do good for mother nature. If possible while planning to present gifts or presentations to someone or loved ones try to present saplings and encourage others to love the world of nature.  Here I conclude my article by saying happily that Vivek was not only a hero on a movie screen, but he was a real hero in real life screen. Love green! Be green!!
